The trip visits several attractions in Lysefjorden. We sail into Fantahola, then onwards through towering mountains, and dock right below the Pulpit Rock. The cruise continues to the watersfalls of Hengjanefossen. After sailing underneath the Pulpit Rock we make a stop by Refså quay, where passengers step ashore for a great hike to the famous plateau via the Preikestolen Mountain Lodge Ticket inkludes bus fare back to Jørpeland.

Departure from
The cruise begins from Vågen, the bay in the center of Jørpeland. We also stop in at Forsand quay.

Cruises run Monday to Friday from June 21st to August 20th.

The hike from Refså quay to the Pulpit Rock and back to the Preikestolen Mountain Lodge takes between 5 to 7 hours.

Bus back to Jørpeland
After the hike to the Pulpit Rock, the bus will take you back to Jørpeland city center. The bus leaves Preikestolen Mountain Lodge, and the bus ticket is included in the price.

Bring proper shoes. We recommend hiking shoes. The trip from Refså quay to the Pulpit Rock is a hiking trip on the mountain, which means you should bring and wear appropriate clothing. Also bring maps and compass if you are unfamiliar with the area. And finally, don’t forget your camera!
